Electronic Reserve provides access to reserve materials over the Internet twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, through any networked computer.
Most documents are in PDF format which may be opened using Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free download from Adobe Systems Incorporated ( http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html). Additional software may be needed to read other document formats such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Help with these programs is available at the IT Assistance Center: phone 512-245-ITAC (4822) or email itac@txstate.edu.
Typical materials which may be available on electronic reserve include: exams, syllabi, lecture notes, journal articles, a few book chapters, charts and maps. Due to copyright restrictions, materials will not be placed on electronic reserve if the nature, scope or extent of copying is judged to exceed reasonable limits of fair use.
