The Alkek Library Computer Lab is designed to serve the needs of Texas State community, including students, staff, faculty, and card-carrying alumni. However, the lab is available to non-TxState affiliated members of the community under certain conditions. Please read the following list carefully to avoid any confusion:

1. Members of the Texas State community (as mentioned above) receive priority over non-TxState members.
2. A Texas State University ID is required to use the lab with full privileges.
3. Laser printers, color printers, and scanners may be restricted to members of the TxState community at all times.
4. There is a one-hour time limit on computers connected to scanners. All other computers in the lab are limited to two hours. Time limits are enforced only if patrons are waiting.

The lab enforces several other policies and procedures designed to keep the facility in good order. If you have any questions, please ask.
