The TCMC Collection consists of public school textbooks (K-12) currently in adoption by the TEA as well as Curriculum Guides on various subjects. The collection is available for check-out by current Texas State University students, faculty, and staff. Check-out period is for two weeks.
Adjacent to TCMC is the Guided Reading Collection. These readers are categorized by the type and level of challenge they offer students as they are learning to read. The readers are organized into 26 levels of difficulty from A-Z. The four areas are: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Content Area & Spanish. They can be checked out for one week at a time with a student ID at the Gov Docs. office.
Most of the materials in Documents circulate, however; some materials require special permission to check out for a short period of time. If you have a question about a certain piece, feel free to ask for assistance at the Documents service counter.
