As a Reference and Instruction Librarian, my duties include helping students, faculty and staff access information for their educational, professional or personal needs. I teach our library users how to improve their search skills and strategies and I inform them of our many resources here at Alkek Library.  I also serve as the librarian liaison to the School of Journalism & Mass Communication and to the Department of English. In that role, I help select material for the library that supports the curriculum and research needs of the students and faculty in those disciplines.
