As a Reference & Instruction Librarian at Alkek Library I teach classes as requested by faculty and meet with students to work though their research needs.  Services for students in distance education classes are also becoming my responsibility.

I began working at Texas State University in 2006 but have been a librarian since 1997.  I received my Master of Science degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois that same year.  I also have a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Illinois.
