Alkek Library is accepting student worker online applications.

- Student applications are placed in an active file in Administrative Services for each semester. When a student worker position is open, the applications are sent to that department’s hiring staff to review. Applications are selected by that department supervisor and students are called to schedule an interview. You will be be contacted only if you are selected for an interview by a Library supervisor.
The Alkek Library employs approximately 40 work study students and 40 regular wage students during the long semesters, in eleven areas from the first through the seventh floors.
Some departments hire students to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Usually these hours are flexible and students can work around their class schedule. Other departments also hire students for evening and weekend hours as these are public service areas with specific work shifts to fill.
The first floor houses Instructional Technologies Support departments and the Student Learning Assistance Center is located on the fourth floor. ITS supervises the fourth floor Computer Lab. Please contact these departments directly to inquire about their hiring procedure if you are interested in working in either location.
