Digital Production Lab

Lab staff can assist students in general digitial production tasks such as, transforming still images into a flowing slideshow or creating presentations with accompanying audio. Lab staff can also help students convert video and audio files into various formats or add video, audio and still images into one file and turn them into a cohesive project. Because lab assistants’ work hours vary, individuals or groups needing assistance with video or audio production should call ahead to ensure that assistance is available to meet their needs. The computer lab phone number is (512) 245-2106.

Although, the lab does not have the equipment or staff to assist with advanced digital editing, the lab  does have a number of consumer level software programs to aid students in incorporating multimedia elements into their projects.
