A satellite exhibit of foreign translations of books from Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Olympian series. Languages represented include Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Finnish, Russian, and Hebrew.
These editions showcase not only the variety of translations, but also the art work used on the book jackets—very different from the American publications. Examples of Riordan's other series are also in the exhibit, along with his mystery novels.
The Art of the Book Exhibit
The exhibit is intended to showcase artists' books and other unique oversize books the Alkek Library owns, along with our awe and respect for the beauty and art of books. Curated by Selene Hinojosa, Collection Development Librarian
On the 6th Floor of the Library and adjacent to the Juvenile Collection, an exhibit has been set up showcasing New Juvenile Books.
