Those using Alkek Library Technology Spaces are expected to adhere to all Texas State University Codes of Conduct. In addition to conduct prohibited by University Libraries Use Policies, University Public Safety and Health Policies, and University Computing Services Policies. The following conduct is prohibited in all areas that have been designated as Technology Spaces:
- Misuse of furniture or the facility
- Defacing, damaging, or destroying any materials or resources
- Removing or attempting to remove library property

If you are using someone else's work in your video, you must have their permission to use it or rely on the Fair Use Exception to the Copyright Act. Texas State University policy (UPPS No. 01.04.27 04.02 (b)) http://policies.txstate.edu/university-policies/01-04-27.html requires anyone relying on the Fair Use Exception to complete and retain a Fair Use Checklist http://guides.library.txstate.edu/ld.php?content_id=6998217. Additionally, some Texas State University resource are available to you under licenses. Those licenses control your ability to reproduce them in your video.
Additionally, you may have Fair Use to reuse and distribute copyrighted materials for some purposes but not for others. For example, what may be Fair Use to copy and upload to TRACS for a class assignment may not be Fair Use to upload to your public YouTube account.
