Information and Undergraduate Services
The Information & Undergraduate Services (IUS) Department is responsible for developing outreach to the campus community, with an emphasis on outreach to undergraduate students.
Key services provided by the IUS department include research support for all library patrons through the Ask a Librarian online chat service and on-the-floor staffing of the Ask Alkek Desk on the main floor of the library to answer key questions from library patrons. In addition, staff develop events such as the Long Night Against Procrastination and stress-reducing activities to help students manage academic rigors.
The team is composed of librarians, library assistance and numerous student workers who provide key customer services.
