The RRC Library offers several types of spaces along with equipment available to current Texas State University students, faculty, and staff at the Round Rock Campus.
Various seating options and tables some with outlet/charging options. Includes computers, two of which have large monitors
Study carrels, with lighting, and a table with outlets and chairs
Multiple computers including one with assistive software; available for use during library hours, except when reserved for library instruction
The RRC Library offers two models of calculators:
TI-30X IIS (scientific) 
TI-84 Plus (graphing)
Calculators are available for check out for the day and must be returned before the RRC Library closes. Calculators can be taken out of the RRC Library as long as they are returned by the due date and time.
Headphones are available for check out for the day and must be returned before the RRC Library closes. They work with the library computers and a variety of personal portable audio players. Headphones can be taken out of the RRC Library as long as they are returned by the due date and time.
Laptops and chargers are available for check out from the RRC Library. We have both day use laptops which must be returned before the RRC Library closes on that day AND laptops that can be checked out for 28 days. Laptops can be taken out the RRC Library and users must log in to the TXST WiFi network before leaving campus with the laptop. Additional software cannot be downloaded onto these laptops.
Oculus devices, consisting of a headset and two hand held controllers, are available for check out for the day and must be returned before the RRC Library closes on the day of check out; they must remain within the RRC Library. The wireless headset has multiple gaming programs for students to use.
Use this station to make audio recordings such as podcasts. Equipment includes microphone and a Rodecaster Pro soundboard which makes podcasting easy with intuitive controls, automatic level setting and one-touch recording. SD cards and cables are available to help with the process.
There are two portable dry erase boards with pens for your use. Choose from multiple pen colors.
For use with 8 1/2" by 11" sheets of paper. Can be used for standard or heavy duty jobs. A heavy duty 3 Hole Punch is also available. Please ask at the Information Desk.
Can cut up to 15" sided paper. Feel free to ask library staff for assistance if needed.
