Reserve a Room

Group Study Rooms, Collaboration Rooms, YouStar Studios and the Comm Lab can now be reserved through our room reservation system.

Group Study Rooms, collaboration rooms and the Comm Lab are again available to be reserved for 1 to 4 people using our EMS reservation system. Limitations for the number of people who can be in a room are indicated in the room's capacity. In addition, our new YouStar audio and video recording studios are now open and can be reserved using the EMS system. If you make a reservation online or from one of the floormap kiosks, you will need to check in using the tablet outside each room's door.

New features: We have two new ways to make immediate reservations for spaces in the Alkek Library. You can use one of the floormap kiosks located on each floor of the library or the tablets located outside each reservable room to make immediate, one-hour reservations for rooms not in use.

Masks are to be worn any time more than one person is occupying a room.

Alkek study rooms now reservable

Group study rooms, collaboration rooms, YouStar recording studios and the Comm Lab require reservations. Two-hour reservations may be made online at reservation.library.txstate.edu. One-hour immediate reservations can be made on room tablets or from kiosks.
