Collaboration Rooms

Location: Alkek Library 2nd Floor (Main), ASB South
Rooms: Alkek - 233, 234, 235, 236; ASB - 204 & 205
Capacity:  Alkek - 6 people; ASB - 9 people
Make an advanced reservation from a phone, tablet, laptop or computer workstation: Select Add New Request, fill out the online form and look for Collaboration Room options. You can reserve a study room for up to two hours.

Tablet Reservations: Rooms can be also be reserved onsite from the tablets outside each reservable space from a mobile device. Touch the green Book Now button on the tablet and scan the QR code to access the reservation website.


Use Guidelines: All collaboration rooms are intended for use by students and faculty who need to meet with a group to study or work on projects. These rooms are not to be used for office hours or instructional support. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to use. These rooms are not soundproof, so noise levels must be kept to a minimum. Groups who become loud and boisterous risk being asked to forfeit their reservation and leave the library.

  • Three HDMI and one VGA connection cable
  • Glass writing walls

These specialized group study spaces offer the perfect place to gather your project team or study group in a boardroom style space that is separate from the crowd, but part of the collaborative energy on the library's main floor.

Bring your laptops and use provided connection cables to share a presentation or document on the large monitor or use the glass dry-erase boards to brainstorm or perform calculations as a group.
