Group Study Rooms

Outside of group study room

There are varying sized group study rooms located around the perimeter of floors 5-7. The collaboration study rooms are on the main floor along the back wall. Learn how to reserve one of these spaces for up to two-hour sessions here.

Need a smaller study place to focus? These small rooms have doors for quiet, focused study time. Ideal locations for solo studying or with just one or two others.

Location: Alkek Library, Floors 5-7

Rooms: 517-521, 537 - 546, 617-621, 636 - 646, 717-722

Capacity: 1-3

Reservable: No. First-come, first served.

  • Power outlets
  • Window views on 7th floor

Locations: Alkek Library Floors 5-7

Rooms: 510, 512, 514, 516, 531, 532, 550, 610, 612, 614, 616, 631, 632, 710, 712, 714, 716. Collaboration Rooms 233, 234, 235 and 236 are media equipped study rooms.

Capacity: Smaller group study rooms accommodate 2 to 6, larger rooms up to 10. Please note that at least two people are required to reserve and use these rooms.

Reservable: All group study rooms are now reservable for up to 2-hour sessions. At least two members of your group must show up for your reservation within 15 minutes of its start time or other groups will be allowed to use the room. The individual and small group study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
